What is Good Bodies?

We are a small, semi-private personal fitness and wellness business that specializes in individualized programming based on the needs and goals of our clientele. We work with a diverse group of individuals, both young and old, and from all walks of life. Besides by individual appointment and small group personal training, we also offer group classes, nutrition counseling, weight-loss, and lifestyle coaching. We are also a completely equipped facility featuring resistance and cardiovascular training equipment from Cybex, TechnoGym, Free Motion, Pre Cor, and Vision.

How long have you been in business?

When opened, Good Bodies was one of the first dedicated personal fitness and wellness businesses in Central Ohio, and has been in continuous operation since January of 1994.

What sets you apart from all the other fitness facilities and businesses out there?

Two things really. First, the atmosphere of our facility. Our clients, past and present, see Good Bodies as a friendly, inviting, and caring place that they enjoy coming to and being in. Second is our staff. We have a highly educated staff with great continuity and longevity. They work very well together as a team to bring the right combination of knowledge and expertise to meet the needs and goals of each individual. They believe in a "client-centric" approach to fitness, meaning the well being of the client always comes first.

Tell me about the qualifications of your trainers.

Our average trainer has 15 years of experience in the industry and has decided to make fitness their chosen career. All have obtained an exercise related degree and/or an advanced personal training certification from a nationally recognized institution. Continuing education is also required annually of all staff to further the learning process and keep current with changes in the fitness and wellness industry.

I can't afford individual personal training.

While long-term personal training is something many of our clients find valuable as part of their lifestyle, it isn't the only approach. A brief period of individual training (one to two months) is a great investment in yourself, and allows one of our staff to put together a program that meets your specifc needs and goals efficiently and safely. Additionally, the program can be tailored to the equipment or resources you have on hand. If affordability is your bottom line, consider our Body Performance classes or small group training. Each is a lower cost option that still offers great value and personalized attention.

 Do you offer memberships?

While no membership is required to use any of our services, we do offer an option for those individuals looking to do some training on their own. Many of our clients have found they prefer Good Bodies over larger, less personal clubs for their extended exercise needs. Please inquire.

What amenities do you offer?

Besides an immaculately clean facility, we have private shower rooms complete with soap, shampoo, conditioner, deoderant, shaving items, and blow dryers. Towel service includes both workout and shower towels. We also offer a full range of sports drinks and bars. Individual lockers are available as well.

This meeting allows us to find out specifically what your needs and goals are, and what your expectations are of Good Bodies.
